GHG and REDD+ Project Analyst

Kaio Costa is a Forestry Engineer from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV) and an Agricultural Technician from the Federal Institute of São João Evangelista (IFMG-SJE). He worked for three years at the UFV Forest Engineering Department Research Nursery. During this period, he worked on forest genetic improvement and propagation, developing projects in collaboration with companies in the sector. Additionally, he participated in the development and implementation of new technologies aimed at the forestry sector. Since January 2021, he has been part of the Canopée Environmental and Forest Management team, contributing to the development of REDD+ projects, preparing and conducting Corporate Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Inventories, and coordinating Neutralization Plantations.
