Leandro Caldeira

Methodology Analyst

Graduated in Forestry Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa, Leandro is a professional with solid knowledge in ecosystem conservation, environmental economics, and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions management. With experience in GHG emission inventories, carbon credit project development (including REDD+ methodologies), payment for environmental services, and reforestation with native species, his work has been marked by a commitment to projects that promote socio-economic and environmental development in an efficient, innovative, and sustainable way. He participated in the Coordinating Committee of the Environmental Economics and Forest Management Study Group, developing activities focused on environmental preservation. His internships at Conservador da Mantiqueira and the Zero Carbon Project at UFV stand out, where he acquired skills in team management, economic feasibility, and environmental education.
